Mardi Gras 2020

In the long long ago, in the before COVID-19 era, Mardi Gras 2020 somehow managed to still happen. While not my first trip to New Orleans it was my first Mardi Gras and I was not disappointed!

When you think Mardi Gras, you probably think out of control party 24/7, outright debauchery. That may have happened, but we primarily stayed in more of the "grown-up" areas where people still stay at the bar all night, but they keep the sound down ;) (I will say we had to wander up to Canal Street one evening to go to CVS and it was pretty much like you'd expect 🤢)

These photos range from the parade route, floats, parties, and all that trash. Photos were taken with Sony RX100IV and Sony A7III, Tamron 28-70 f/2.8
